Our Sponsors
CAMT operates and is able to keep registration costs low because of the volunteer efforts of our sponsors. Each organization provides hundreds of hours of work to help CAMT provide professional development for the mathematics educators of Texas.

TCTM
The Texas Council of Teachers of Mathematics is an affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. TCTM provides its members with two journals each school year, publishing articles relevant to classroom practice for its 6,500 members. TCTM supports CAMT with volunteers for registration and operates a booth in the exhibit hall to display and sell NCTM materials.

TCTM provides scholarships to preservice teachers who intend to pursue student teaching in college. In addition, new teachers may apply for financial support to attend CAMT, and TCTM honors two mathematics education leaders at CAMT with awards.

TASM
The Texas Association of Supervisors of Mathematics is an affiliate of the National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. TASM meets three times a year, providing up-to-date professional development for over 700 mathematics supervisors, specialists, and teacher leaders.

At CAMT, many of the sessions are presented by TASM members as well as leading the program and arrangements committees. TASM administers the Mary Ann Norton scholarship fund and the Tommy Eads Teaching Excellence award.
