Reaching the Reluctant Learner
How do we reach reluctant learners? What can math teachers do to increase student confidence and understanding of key concepts related to number, place value, and operations? How does one use tiered activities to meet the needs of all students? How do we do all these things without burning out? Join us as we experience high-tech and low-tech activities designed to engage the reluctant learner. Acquire tools to streamline assessment so that students have opportunities to be more involved in self-assessment. Learn key ideas that provide insight into how to increase motivation. Leave with “next steps” for immediate impact for all students.

Administrators' Conference

Please join us for an exciting new CAMT Administrators' Conference titled, "Hot Topics in Texas Mathematics". Speakers will provide administrators with the latest updates from the Texas Education Agency, ESTAR an Introduction (grades K-5), MSTAR Academies: Foundations for Grades 6-8, and Math End-of-Course: Algebra I. Presentations will provide administrators with content and instructional strategies they should see implemented in classrooms as a result of summer professional development.

Lunch is included on both days of the Administrator's Conference. On Tuesday the session will begin at 9:00 AM and conclude at 4:00 PM. On Wednesday, the session will begin at 9:00 AM and conclude at 4:00 PM.

Administrators may attend CAMT following this event. The CAMT registration fee is waived for administrators who attend the Administrators' Conference.
