Speaker Proposal Submission Dates
Speaker registration for CAMT 2011 is from August 15 until October 1, 2010. Use cVent to register online today.
What’s Important This Year
Please type ALL information exactly as it will be shown in the program book and online.
- Speakers may not use sessions to sell a product. Speakers who violate this guideline will be escorted from the building.
- Titles should be short and eye-catching.
- Descriptions should accurately describe the session and be written in complete sentences and be grammatically correct. Descriptions that are too long for the program book will be edited to fit the space allowed.
- AV equipment - All rooms will be set with a computer projector, a document camera, a power strip, and a screen. Rooms for 80 and above will also have a lapel mike. Computers will not be provided. Graphing calculators must be requested by speakers through Texas Instruments.
- Internet access will not be provided by CAMT.
- The CAMT registration fee is waived for one speaker per session presented. This does not include TCTM membership.
- Speakers are responsible for reading and following the Speaker Guidelines.
-
Start and end your session at the time listed in the program book. Do not begin your sessions early even if the session is full – this is very confusing to participants and to the program committee. You have the responsibility to present for the full amount of time scheduled for your presentation. If you finish early, offer a question and answer time.
- Please make sure home addresses are given for any presenters. CAMT is a volunteer organization. Many calls are made by volunteers after business hours.
- If you do not receive a mailed confirmation letter about your session by late December, please assume that there is a problem and contact the CAMT office.
And, THANK YOU!
Speaker Guidelines
Please read the guidelines before you begin the registration process. All speakers are expected to read and follow the guidelines located online.
