Tuesday, July 11

Are all students performing at the highest levels on your campus?  Need to increase the capacity and effectiveness of the instruction your teachers are providing?  Search no further, this conference is designed to help you lead your campus to success!

Leaders will learn how to make mathematics accessible for all students by developing a growth mindset in mathematics.  Leaders will learn about the role that numeracy plays in mathematics and how it should look in the math classroom.  Ready to use data to drive instruction?  A session will be offered to help you work with your teachers to use both formative and summative assessments to drive instructional decisions.

Texas mathematics leaders will offer insight into how what they have learned to chart new success. In addition, Texas Education Agency staff will be on hand to keep you abreast of the latest updates about mathematics curriculum, standards and STAAR assessments.

The CAMT registration fee is waived for those administrators who attend the Administrators Conference. The fee for the Administrators’ Conference is $250 prior to May 1, 2017. After May 1, register at the conference at the cost of $350.  Mathematics supervisors and district curriculum directors may register to attend both conferences this year. If you wish to attend both the elementary and secondary administrators’ conferences, the fee is $375 if paid by May 1st.  You can continue to register online for the conference through June 1, 2017 at a fee of $350.
